E.L.I.T.E. RETEAT RULES

During the next couple of days, we are going to have a great time. The experiences will be filled with a variety of different activities. You are expected to cooperate in all activities throughout the event.

All E.L.I.T.E. students must wear nametags throughout the whole event; not only for identification purposes but your nametags also have important information listed on the back.

When you are put in small groups, you are expected to turn in your phones and watches. We will keep track of time for you.

No one is to leave the grounds or use the telephones. If there is an emergency, contact one of the adult team members.

The grounds and buildings do not belong to us and we should remember that we are guests here. (There are people who live here at Eagle Crest Camp.) This is their home. Please treat it with respect since they have been kind enough to let us spend a few days at their home.

As with any E.L.I.T.E. event, alcohol, drugs and firearms are not permitted on this retreat.

Outside games and activities are not to be played inside. We will have recreation periods during the retreat.

In the event that something gets broken, immediately inform an adult volunteer.

There are many buildings on these grounds. You are only permitted in the buildings that we will point out. Many of these buildings are the homes of the employees who live here. Please do not go into any building that you have been shown.

No food or drink should be taken outside of the cafeteria or break room. During Recreation time, we ill permit drink outside but you are responsible for any bottle, cups, or cans you take outside.

This is a co-ed experience. You will be very respectful of the opposite sex. Do not find yourself in a situation you will regret.

We are going to be operating a very full, very tight schedule and you are expected to be on time for each activity. We will not start an activity until each person is present, so if yore late, you will be making everyone else wait.

Be open to the experience, to the activities, to each other, and to yourselves. You will get out of this experience only what you want to. If you close up, you get nothing. Do not anticipate; participate.

If you are confused about anything at all or if you need anything, please see one of the team members.

We hope you have an awesome time over the next two days. We hope you learn a lot about leadership and discover what a great leader you can be.

E.L.I.T.E. BEDTIME RULES

Bedtime is just that, bedtime. It is not a time to horse around. We have a very full day tomorrow and cannot afford to lose any sleep because of behavior.

You may not leave your assigned cabin at any time during the night. Leaving the cabin will result in being dismissed from the workshop and you will be FIRED from the E.L.I.T.E. program.

There is no need to shower at this time; you will be afforded plenty of time in the morning. Please go directly to sleep.

The adult leaders will wake you up in the morning. Please stay in bed until they wake you up, you will be given plenty of time to get ready.

It is important that the adults can trust you at night. We do not want to end up in a situation where your parent is going to have to come pick you up because you have failed to follow the rules.

E.L.I.T.E. REC TIME RULES

During recreation time, you have some time to hang out with your friends, relax, or even take a nap.

It is very important to stay in the following areas:

Camp Area: You are welcome to play basketball, football, volleyball or Frisbee in the rec area. There is an open field with a volleyball net. The basketball courts are near the front of the camp area. Please do not hang on the rims. You will be responsible for any damage.

Trails: you may walk the trails in the back but please stay on the marked trails. There is a land back there not owned by the camp and we do not want to be trespassing on anyone’s property.

Game Room: You are also welcome to use the game room. There are a bunch of games including ping pong, foosball and pool.

Snack Area: You may at any time stop in at the snack area.

Please keep snack in the cafeteria. Please do your best to keep the campground clean and in great condition. We are guests here. In the event that something breaks, immediately tell an adult.

The leaders will let you know what it is time to regroup.
