In this inspirational phase, present or former inmates provide emotional accounts focusing on hard lessons learned from failed relationships, dependence on others, substance abuse, and disrespect for parents, teachers, and authority figures. Specially selected inmates directly interact with student in a positive manner and openly discuss the results of making poor choices. Law enforcement officers also participate and present a realistic account of life inside a prison.
